Wine Tours

Visiting wineries can be lots of fun. They vary so much that you can enjoy the experience if you give yourself enough time to enjoy them. When considering which wineries to visit, there are a bunch of things to consider. If you know you like red or white wine, some wineries specialize in one or the other. As we are working on putting together wine tours, we are open to your imput and your interests.

There are however some basic rules for this time of year. Some wineries are not open on Sunday. Some wineries have very small hours, for example Dr. Konstantin Frank's is only open less than 7 hours a day. Some wineries limit groups to 8 people, just like they restrict group sizes in the High Peaks. Wine servers are just that they are servers and they should be tipped at the 15-20% rate like other servers. And then there is the question of geography. It is not really possible to visit more than 3 wineries and get back to Watkins Glen in time for Saturday night or your Sunday drive home. We aim to put a group of people together who want to visit a select group of wineries for a great experience.

At this point in time we want your imput as to what you want from your wine tour. Take a look at the offerings in the area and let us know at
