Between downpours we ventured out on bikes with JoAnn Ratajczak towards Canalside, smelling fresh Cheerios along the way. Riding on the boardwalk, we admired the flower gardens, sandbox playground, veteran memorials, and reflecting pool with Shark Girl in residence (icerink in the winter). The $1 6-minute ferry at the Naval Park took us to the scenic Outer Harbor and eventually the Ohio St bridge to loop back to the picnic site. Fantastic fun!
Other outings included an upstream paddle led by Bob Bohner, a quick paddle led by Richard Schraven, and Tifft hikes led by Lynn and Doug Kenney along with Leslie Salathe
