Etiquette for Participants and Leaders of Club Outings

We will discuss the elements of taking part in club day-trips as well as overnight outings.  Whether it is a hike, a bike-ride, a canoe or kayak paddle, a winter outing on skies or snowshoes or a backpacking trip, issues often arise that need to be taken care of to maximize safety, comfort and enjoyment of the outdoor experience.  Most of this information can be conveyed in the Trip Description and some is held back for a reason.  The "Ten Essentials" list will be reviewed to encourage participants and leaders to bring the items and skills that will enhance the experience.
