Seven members and some of my family and the little mighty snow dog,
Wendy enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the Wales countryside. Snow
conditions weren’t the best but the sunshine was warm and wonderful.
The skiers zipped ahead through the Christmas tree farm and down the
hill to view the open waters of Hunters Creek. The shoers set their own
pace and all got back to the farm at about the same time. While some
enjoyed snacks (yum! Congo Bars!) at the picnic table, the others went
bush-whacking over to a trail in Hunters Creek Park and came back 45
minutes later for their share of the goodies. We are all wishing for
great winter of snow right up until the snowdrops bloom. Carol Griffis
