Along the hiking trail are a couple of beautiful vistas. I realize that the county property is unimproved, the other hikers agreed that there are a couple of places — one overlooking a waterfall — where a park bench would be an added and needed improvement benefiting those who would like to pause. In view of the fact that the county spends $8 million a game during the football season to maintain and police Rich Stadium for those who prefer sitting and drinking over hiking, it seemed to us that the county could afford a bench.
